Jiangxi Fengzhu New Material Technology Co., LTD., the 2022 Yifeng County key industry key technology research "open list" project "Calcium sulfate crystal filler modified polylactide (PLA) application research and technology development", after nearly 2 years of implementation, has been successfully completed, and in January 21, 2025 after a comprehensive review by the expert group, Successfully passed the project acceptance assessment.
Aiming at the current problems of PLA products such as poor heat resistance and unsatisfactory comprehensive mechanical properties, the project designed and prepared a calcium sulfate whisker product for PLA reinforcement and tougheners, and modified the surface of calcium sulfate whisker (CSW) by coupling agent, so that it can form a good interface combination with polylactic acid (PLA). The successful development and application of PLA industry-specific calcium sulfate whisker and its masterbatch in this project greatly improved the temperature resistance characteristics and comprehensive mechanical properties of PLA, and completed all the technical indicators and scientific and technological achievement requirements specified in the project specification. It will effectively promote the promotion and application of PLA biodegradable materials modified by calcium sulfate whisker in the field of packaging materials such as food and beverage containers and tableware materials.
NP WHISKER has always adhered to the concept of "innovation-driven, quality first", and is committed to providing customers with quality products and services. The smooth acceptance of the "unmasking" project once again demonstrates our innovative strength and professional ability. In the future, we will continue to increase investment in research and development, deepen industry-university-research cooperation, actively explore more cutting-edge technologies, and contribute more to promoting high-quality development of the industry.
